Overview Of AGMHP

The ASEAN-German Mini Hydro Project - AGMHP (12/2005-11/2010) is jointly implemented by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) on behalf of the ASEAN and the German government. The project aims to improve the preconditions for sustainable utilization of mini hydro power (MHP) in the ASEAN region. The project builds upon strategies for disseminating MHP successfully proven by GTZ in Indonesia and shall establish these strategies in further ASEAN member states, mainly in AGMHP’s focus countries – Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
